All you need to know before you go

Arriving 15min before ceremony will ensure you have plenty of time to find a park (link) and settle in before the ceremony.

Ceremony Location: Follow sign to grass area near Killcare surf club kiosk.

There will be limited seating for the ceremony but shade aplenty. Sunglasses provided.

Reception Location: Upstairs in the hall of the surf club with balcony with views of the ocean and access to the bar.

The bar is staffed by surf club volunteers who have dedicated their time to serving drinks to us all. Give them a shout out when you can.

We have drinks package which includes; Wine, Sparkling, Beer and Soft Drinks. Spirits are available to be purchased by guests.

Limited cell phone reception at location, surf club wifi available, please see WiFi Password.

If you need to contact anyone on location, WhatsApp or Social media apps work best with WiFi.
A bit about the Venue
Perched right where the golden sands meet the Pacific, Killcare Surf Club has been watching over the waves (and the occasional over-enthusiastic swimmer) for more than 85 years.
This local legend isn’t just about surf rescues and sunscreen—it’s the heart of the Killcare community. From tiny “nippers” learning to tackle the surf to seasoned lifesavers who know every wave by name, the club is full of stories, laughter, and a fair bit of sand between the toes.
With its laid-back coastal charm, stunning ocean views, and a history steeped in community spirit, it’s the perfect place to celebrate love, sunshine, and happily-ever-after vibes.

Honeymoon Fund
Your presence at our wedding means the world to us, and truly, that's all we could ask for.
If you'd like to give something more, we've set up a honeymoon fund to help us create some memories after the big day - sandy feet, sunsets, and a little adventure to kick off married life. There's absolutely no expectation - your love and laughter are the best gifts of all.

Parking
There is a large public car park at Beach Drive, Killcare. Killcare beach is a popular beach so sometimes the car park gets full however there plenty of spots available along Beach Drive too.

Wet Weather Plan
If the rain deities plan to showcase their finest on the day we have a wet weather plan ready!
Its not going to damper our mood and we'll have the opportunity to share the amazing view of the Killcare surf club hall balcony with you all for the ceremony.
At 4pm , please follow the signs up to the hall and enjoy the views upstairs overlooking the beach undercover.
Accessibility
KillCare Surf Club has a lift as you enter the building on the right hand side. Please use the lift if you're carrying (baby or heavy items), have mobility concerns, the heels are killing you or just feeling a little wobbly after a good time.
Travelling from Sydney
Travelling from Sydney usually takes ~ 1hr and 10min via the M1 Motorway.
The turn off to Killcare is via the Kariong exit where you will drive through the beautiful Brisbane Water National Park. Its a windy road. It will wind to Ettalong and there is a turn off to Boudhi National Park/Killcare/Killcare Beach. This road is windy and abit steep up and down but short.
There is also the train leaving from Sydney Central Station to Woy Woy station taking 1hr 20min. From There its a 15min Uber/Taxi to Killcare Beach.
In dire straights, a Uber to Sydney will take ~1hr 10 min and cost a group ~ $120* for a standard 4 seater car.
